Greetings of the day!

Dear Reader

Welcome to another edition of 'Scoop', your bi-weekly dose of news from Marketing Mind!

Beyoung’s journey from a modest startup to a powerhouse with 5 million customers is nothing short of inspiring. Shivani Soni, Co-founder of Beyoung, opened up about the brand's mission to make affordable, stylish fashion accessible to Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities. She also unveiled exciting plans for global expansion, upcoming innovations in influencer marketing, and game-changing e-commerce strategies. With an ambitious goal to scale their ARR to Rs 600 crore by 2027, Beyoung is gearing up for an exciting chapter ahead.

Shifting to the advertising realm we have a BTS story from the brand which has recently created a lot of buzz- Taj Mahal Tea since the man behind its iconic ‘Wah Taj!’ ad campaign- Ustad Zakir Hussain passed away a couple days back. And trust us when we say, this is indeed a one of a kind development in our industry where the life of Taj Mahal Tea and the Tabla legend has truly come a full circle from HUL nearly dropping Zakir Hussain in 1995 to rolling out a full font page ad in his remembrance in a national daily, we literally have the tea for you, this time.

That being said, we have another major development from the adworld where Grapes Worldwide’s Founder Himanshu Arya has launched his latest venture- Luxury Cart to create a cohesive ecosystem catering to the end-to-end needs of premium pre-owned luxury vehicles, offering affluent consumers a one-stop destination that emphasises authenticity, elegance, and opulence.

Moving on to media news now, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan has informed the Lok Sabha that the government has blocked 18 OTT platforms this year for hosting obscene and vulgar content as IT Rules 2021 impose clear due diligence obligations on intermediaries and require them to take reasonable steps to prevent the display or dissemination of obscene or pornographic content.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg and we have more to share! So, here’s our ‘Scoop’ of news, hot off the press & curated especially for you! Happy reading :)
